Make a move
Have you ever been told that you’re going to have a special ministry, a great anointing, or maybe do great things for the kingdom of God? You wouldn’t believe some of the amazing and encouraging things I have been told throughout my 19 years. I used to wonder when it would all come to pass, I figured it would just happen. One day I’d just be better, I’d be some super Christian with a powerful ministry.
Here’s the thing though, you aren’t going to wake up one day with an amazing ministry. You won’t go to sleep as a regular Christian one night and wake up the next morning as a crazy anointed/talented/powerful/devoted Christian. You aren’t going to wake up one day with hundreds of people at your door wanting Bible studies. You won’t walk into class one day and have all your school mates tell you that they only pretend to be happy, that there home life is miserable, and they need you to show them Jesus. YOU have to make a move. Make it happen.
You want the promises of great ministries to come to pass? Consecrate yourself. In order to hear from God you must recognize His voice. Develop a relationship with Jesus. Establish a prayer life. Walk with Him. When you do that, you can live your life and make choices knowing that He has His hand over you and that He will direct your paths. Wake up young people. Rise up Generation. Let’s be the generation that changes the face of Christianity. Take this as my challenge to myself as well as my challenge to you.
When God asks you to do something, no matter how ridiculous it seems, just do it. Obedience is so important. If you can be obedient with the small things God can trust with you the big. He has a plan and He sees the end! So although it doesn’t make sense to you at this point, it will in hindsight. You’ll look back and see how it all worked out in the end and that only God could have orchestrated something so perfectly. Trust Him friend, He’s the only one in this life that will never let you down. He is so faithful, so so loving, and so good. Obedience > Sacrifice.
